<Stepping Into Her Shoes> is a virtual reality(VR) experience we designed to evoke people’s empathy and social awareness for female victims of domestic violence. We incorporated a first-person perspective(1PP) into our VR design, expecting to explore the possibilities of enhancing users’ empathy by providing them with feelings of helplessness and vulnerability through 1PP.
The pilot study we conducted demonstrated that our VR experience encompassing a narrative of domestic abuse from a first-person perspective can effectively trigger societal attention and empathy for female victims of domestic violence.
<Stepping Into Her Shoes>是我们设计的一款虚拟现实（VR）体验，旨在唤起人们对家庭暴力女性受害者的同情和社会意识。我们在 VR 设计中融入了第一人称视角（1PP），期望通过 1PP 为用户提供无助和脆弱的感受，从而探索增强共情的可能性。
我们进行的试点研究表明，我们以第一人称视角讲述家暴故事的 VR 体验可以有效地引发社会对家暴女性受害者的关注和共鸣。
